Who is God? God is the creator of heaven and earth, and everything in it; this makes Him the most powerful being in existence. His existence is eternal by nature, He rules His creation with righteousness, and His Sovereignty is established from the beginning. Deuteronomy 10:14 Behold, to the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, and the earth and everything in it. Who is a Messiah? Why does the world need the Messiah? Yahweh has given free will to all beings in heaven and on earth. Evil came into existence when a heavenly being of his own free will rebelled against Him and became His adversary. The Hebrew word for God is Elohim; and in Scriptures, the Hebrew name of God who created the heavens and the earth is Yahweh. Predestination is an Illusion

Yahweh foretold Rebekah what would happen to the two nations that would descend from Esau and Jacob—Gen. 25:23. Genesis 25 23 And the LORD said to her:  Two nations are in your womb; two people will come from you and be separated. One people will be stronger than the other,  and the older will serve the younger. This prophecy does not imply that Jacob was predestined to deceitfully take Esau's blessings from Isaac—when Rebekah asked him to do so. And Rebekah did not ask him to do so, so that she could bring the prophecy to fulfillment. Even before Isaac was born ,  Yahweh had foretold Abraham that his descendants (who would later turn out to be the Israelites—descendants of Jacob) will be enslaved in a land not their own for four hundred years—Gen. 15:13. Rebekah, sister of Laban the Aramean, set out from Paddan Aram and went with her nurse, Deborah, to marry Isaac, son of Abraham. Genesis 24 59 So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, along with her nurse and Abraham’s servant and his men. The LORD foretold Abraham that his descendants will be enslaved in a land for four hundred years even before Isaac was born. In layman's terms, the book of Genesis, Chapter 1, gives an account of how Yahweh created the universe. That might not be convincing enough for people who doubt. A great place to start would be reading the book of Daniel, Chapter 2. He was a prophet who interpreted the dream of the Babylonian king, Nebuchadnezzar, who forgot the dream he had. Daniel not only was able to describe the dream that the king forgot but also accurately interpreted the dream by prophesying the kingdoms that will come into power after Babylon until the kingdom of God is established on earth. There is historical evidence to prove the accuracy of his prophecies. There are prophecies yet to be fulfilled. Daniel accredited his wisdom, knowledge and understanding to Yahweh. Acknowledging the Creator can give an answer to questions: Why are we in this world?  What will happen in the future?
